Argentine Adventure Tour Patagonia Glaciers

Day 1: El Calafate - Chalten ( Mt. Fitz Roy area)
Morning reception at El Calafate airport and shuttle through the steppe to the town of El Chalten, with views of the Viedma lake and glacier, and Fitz Roy massif. Gourmet Picnic lunch on the way. El Chaltén is our home for the next two nights, and base for some of the most fabulous mountain scenery and hiking trails in Patagonia.

Day 2: Trekking to Laguna Capri ( Optional: Trekking to Laguna de los Tres )

We leave the village walking over the hills that separate us from the Fitz Roy massif. Our destination is the Laguna Capri, with incredible views of Fitz Roy´s hanging glaciers, and Mt. Saint Exupery and Poincenot peaks.

Approx. trekking time: 5 hrs.
Difficulty level: Moderate.
Effort level: Moderate

Day 3: ( El Chaltèn) Early morning trek to Lago Torre- Afternoon transfer to Nibepo Aike Estancia.
Today we have an early start, trekking to the Mt. Torre base camp, one of the most amazing views of Patagonia.... the Southern Face of Mt. Torre, the Egger and Standhard spires, and the Torre’s glacier and lake. Early Afternoon transfer to the town of El Calafate. After a brief stop at the village, we continue to Nibepo Aike a typical Estancia (Ranch) from the beginning of the 20th century. The ranch is located in the heart of Los Glaciares National Park, by the Roca lake. Cozy rooms and an exquisite cuisine, within a superb natural setting.

Day 4: Perito Moreno Glaciar & Horseback riding at the Estancia.
Morning at the footbridges facing the impressive front wall of Perito Moreno Glacier.
Early afternoon return to the Estancia and horseback ride the Estancia further corners and great sightseeing points

Horseback riding:
2 /3 hours.
Level: easy/ non technical

Day 5: Transfer to El Calafate Airport
Morning transfer to El Calafate and leisure time for lunch on your own at the village. Early afternoon transfer out to the Airport to board flights back to Buenos Aires.
